How do I fix the "Runtime 216" error message on older versions of Webpage?

  1. Right click on the Trellian WebPage icon on your desktop
  2. Select Properties
  3. Select the Compatibility tab
  4. Tick the checkbox titled "Run this program in compatibility mode for:"
  5. Select Windows 98/ Windows ME
  6. Click the OK button

Then double click the WebPage icon on your desktop.

Version 3 is not affected by this problem.


Why does the Editor view display HTML code?

This occurs when an old version of Internet Explorer, 6.0.2800, is being used. To resolve the problem, upgrade to the latest version of Internet Explorer, 6.0.2900 or version 7.



Where can I download the dictionary from?

The dictionary can be downloaded from http://www.trellian.com/bin/lu/upg/_Dictionary.exe



How do I fix toolbar issues such as missing buttons/toolbars?

Try deleting the WebPage key from the registry to reset the toolbar settings.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Trellian\Trellian WebPage

To do this:
Click the Start button and enter regedit.exe
Press Enter
Navigate to the key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Trellian
Highlight the Trellian WebPage key, and press delete.

Close regedit and restart WebPage.

Please note that Trellian will not be held responsible for any problems that occur from editing registry settings.



What platforms are supported and do you have MAC version?
Trellian WebPage is available for Windows 9x/ME/NT/2000/XP/Vista A MAC version is not planned at this time.
