IOK - PromoWare settles during an oral hearing in Nuremberg Court agreeing to pay an undisclosed amount to Trellian. Legal action set to Continue. (14 Apr 1999)

Earlier this month a settlement was reached in an oral hearing at the Nuremberg court, with IOK / PromoWare agreeing to pay an undisclosed amount to Trellian to cease legal action for their prior version of Promoware. Trellian withdrew it's petition according to the preliminary order.

Despite the out of court settlement, legal action is set to continue. Trellian alleges that IOK's latest submission program PromoWare 99, also incorporates proprietary SubmitWolf PRO components. IOK have again denied the claims and the matter is expected to be heard in a German court of law later this year.

Trellian Announces a Push into the Japanese Market (11 Jan 1999)

The release will coincide with a major online advertising campaign.

"Japan is a substantial market in which we have not had a great deal of success with our products. I believe that the language barrier has been the main cause, and one which we hope to overcome with the release of the native versions.", said Rene Warmuz the Director of Trellian Limited.

    Trellian Limited vs PromoWare

Trellian has instigated legal action against IOK (www.iok.com), a German Internet Service Provider.

An application for "Einstweillige Verfuegung" directing IOK to stop all sales of PromoWare has been granted to Trellian by a German court and delivered to IOK. The EV was issued without a hearing, and was not final. It was rejected by IOK who have denied all Trellian allegations.
