MP3Wolf: A Basic Guide MP3-Wolf is an easy to use program that searches for MP3 files and many other sound files on a site that you have specified, it also searches into all links in that site for sound files as well. To use MP3-Wolf start the program first. Make sure you are connected to the Internet and if you connect through a proxy Server, click on the options/preferences menu and type in the correct proxy server address in the field provided and then click ok.
Then type in the "URL:" section the address that you want to look for sound files in (ie http://www.music.com). If you wish to look for certain files type in the name/query in the "Watch:" field.
Next click on the "Start" button, this will start scanning the specified URL for music files as well as links. This will bring up a second window, in this second window you can select a lot of different properties and selections in what you are looking for. If you do not wish the search do go into any of the other links in that site then you may restrict the search to that site only in this window, you can also select the type of music files you want searched for. When you have selected "Start" it will bring up a "Status" screen in this screen it displays all the information regarding the current search in progress.
Clicking on the "View" button will bring up a webpage that has all the info on the search, clicking on any of these categories will bring up a detailed list of these categories. Clicking on any of the different types of music file links on this webpage will bring up webpages that have all the listed music files found.
Clicking on the "Find" button of the main page will bring up a small window where you can type one or more words and it will search for the word/s in the currently searched list.
