I get an "unable to open the specified browser"
error message.
The browser path is not set correctly in Preferences. The Browser
field must have the full path to the executable file of your HTML browser.
For information on setting up MP3-Wolf to work with either IE4
or Netscape click on
the respective link.
How do I find the songs that I want?
Because of the nature of MP3 Files and the shortage of them on the internet,
MP3Wolf searches for MP3 files in general instead of a targeted search.
There are not many around, and those that are generally do not get a chance
to be listed on the search engines.
If you are looking for a particular song, let MP3Wolf go until it has 1000 or
1500 MP3s. Check the results and see if it has found the song that you are
looking for. It should find a lot of new songs that are getting airplay and
some classic songs, perhaps also you can try starting at an URL that has
to do with the band or artist you are looking for. Perhaps try the official
fan site of the band or music type.
Why does MP3Wolf not download the songs it finds?
MP3Wolf will search for and list MP3 files. It does not download them due to
the fact that they can be in excess of 5 meg each, if you download too many
wrong ones it can take a long time and cost a lot of bandwidth. Hence, it
only lists them for you to choose and download as you would like.
