I get "an error occurred while moving data-623" during Installation.
Delete all files in the /Windows/Temp directory, close down any virus protection utilities that may be running, and re-install the program.

I get "The decompression of %s failed. There may not be enough disk space available in the TEMP directory" error.
Windows can limit the size of the TEMP directory and it may be full even though you have free disk space available on your hard disk. Delete some files from the windows TEMP directory and try again.

When I load the program for the first time, a window pops up asking for a project but I have not made one yet.
Simply type in the name of a new project and Classify PRO will create it for you.

I have entered my registration details but it Classify PRO rejects them as invalid.
Please make sure that you are typing the registration details exactly as they appear in your registration email. Remember that the registration name and serial number are case sensitive.

Make sure the registration name (usually an email address) and serial number are used under the register button from the main page of the program. Generally passwords are used to unlock the scripts, and are not required in the registration area.

Ensure that the username and serial number you are using are for the program you are trying to register.



I have submitted an online order form, but have not received my registration.
In most cases, all orders are processed by the end of the Next working day. If you have not received your registration within that time, please contact sales@trellian.com with the details of your order. The most common reasons for delays are invalid or missing email address and/or contact details.

I do not wish to use online order form. What other options do I have? You can fax the filled in order form to +61-3-9589-7951, or send it to us via mail.

I do not have a Credit Card. How can I place an order?
Mail order

Fill in the order form, and mail it to us with either a Bank Cheque or a Money Order. Please note that we do not accept personal Cheques draw on a bank outside Australia.

Telegraphic Transfer

You can wire your payment directly to our account. To speed up your order, please either fax us the details of the transfer to +61-3-9589-7951, or via email to sales@trellian.com.



I get an "unable to open the specified browser" error message.
The browser path is not set correctly in Preferences. The Browser field must have the full path to the executable file of your HTML browser. For information on setting up Classify PRO to work with either IE4 or Netscape click on the respective link

I am unable to enter any information as all the fields are grayed out.
You will need to start a new project first, by selecting 'NEW PROJECT' from the 'FILE' menu. 

Why does Classify PRO skip engines?
All regionally specific sites are skipped if the URL being submitted does not correspond to the region. 

Many sites have specific rules as to the type of sites they accept for listing. If the data you have entered violates a rule for a given site, it will be skipped. 

A number of sites are marked for manual submission. This is either because it is too hard to write an accurate submission script, or no one has gotten around to it yet. (In some cases, the site has requested to be manual) These will also be skipped.

Why are some engines disabled even in the Registered version?
Classify PRO automaticaly disables sites that are not appropriate either for your ads geographic location (domain), classification and/or content. For this reason, you should always enter as much information about your site before going to the engine selector screen. 

Sites which accept business/commercial listings only, will be greyed out if you have not entered a company/business name in the contacts screen.

Why is my site being submitted only to a small number of sites?
You have not selected all the available sites.

Only a few engines will be available if you are running an Unregistered copy of SubmitWolf.

Microsoft's winsock.dll has a known problem that can cause your computer to crash when receiving data from the internet, http://www.ozemail.com.au/~mrsilly/ has an excellent site describing this problem in detail, as well as remedies to prevent further problems of this nature. Sometimes, shortening the description, keywords and title may help to prevent crashes while submitting.

Classify PRO submits to 0 engines successfully.
Check that you have your proxy set, this can be found in the options/windows menu. Your ISP can tell you what your HTTP proxy and port number need to be. (note: most users do not require a proxy). As a quick guide, you can use the same proxy as netscape or IE use in thier HTTP Proxy settings, refer to the browser help to find these settings.

Classify PRO fails to download and install script upgrades.
Check that you have your proxy set, this can be found in the options/windows menu. Your ISP can tell you what your HTTP proxy and port number need to be. (note: most users do not require a proxy). As a quick guide, you can use the same proxy as netscape or IE use in thier HTTP Proxy settings, refer to the browser help to find these settings.

If Classify PRO still fails to install the script upgrades, download this file:
http://www.trellian.net/bin/sw4/cw_script.exe

Copy the file to the Classify PRO directory and run it. After all files have been extracted, run Classify PRO to complete the installation. If you continue to have problems email Classify PRO support.

I get an "Unable to Write Project File" error.
Make sure that you have not used , . / \ ? : ; ' " or spaces in the project name.

Youwill then have to use the New Project option from the File menu to create a new project. Or the Open option from the File menu to load an old project that has a project name that does not contain these characters.

Nothing happens when I press "submit"?
Make sure that you SELECT ALL under the CLASSIFIEDS tab.

What should I use as my "Username" and "Password" in Classify PRO?
Some search engines require you to specify a Username and Password which is used if you wish to make changes to your listing later. The password should not be the one you use for submitwolf, FTP or email. Simply make one up. However, you should note it down in case you need to change a listing at any given site that requires it.

What are the main differences between "Classify PRO" and "Classify PRO Enterprise"?
The main differences between the standard package and the Enterprise edition are:
The Enterprise is licensed for third party submissions.
Standard is not.
Enterprise can do batch submission.
Enterprise can read in form data.
Enterprise submissions do not get any email from us.
Enterprise has customisable reporting to display your name and logo on the reports.

How can I get my Classified site into Classify PRO's database?
If you wish to have your site added to SubmitWolf, then email your request to support@trellian.com.

Your site will be reviewed and if it is acceptable it will be added to SubmitWolf. Of course if you have joined the partner program and added a link to your add URL page, then it will increase your chances of being added.





What platforms are supported and do you have MAC version?
Classify PRO is available for Windows 95, NT A MAC version is planned, however there is no set release date at this time.

Where can I get the latest Script Upgrades and how often do you Upgrade the scripts? For Version 1.04+: Upgrades can be installed from within the program. Use the Upgrade Option from the File Menu. Program upgrades can also be installed with this feature.

How can I increase the number of engines being submitted to?
You can request new sites to be added to Classify PRO by emailing support@trellian.com. Be sure to include the name of the site, URL of the homepage and submitpage.
